Bibi; You are Full of … Soup!

Here, Bibi Talk’s Big;

Netanyahu: Hamastan Created Before Our Very Eyes

Full Text;

“Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu told the Likud faction in the Knesset Thursday, ‘Before our very eyes, Hamastan has been established, the step-child of Iran and the Taliban. It’s in firing range of our airport, our highways and cities. This has to be a day of soul searching because the writing was on the wall. The policy of giving land for free gave a prize to terror and a winning card for Hamas.'”

“‘How are Olmert and Peres getting ready for this challenge? They are moving the fence 500 meters closer to the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv highway (Beit Iksa). They gave more land to the Hamas state. Any land given to Hamas will give more of a front to fire upon us.'”

“‘This is a new and dangerous situation. Sharon said he wouldn’t let Palestinians in Jerusalem vote. Olmert let them.'”

But here, Bibi act’s small!

Olmert Asked to Delay Evacuation

Full Text;

“Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was asked on Thursday to delay the evacuation of Hebron marketplace and Amona until after the March elections.”

“The request was made in a letter signed by officials from the National Union, National Religious Party, Shas, United Torah Judaism and Israel Our Home.”

“Likud Party Chairman Binyamin “Bibi” Netanyahu refused to sign.

Commentary;

Bibi Netanyahu has been harping that the Hamas election victory is one of the consequences of [in establishment lingo] the “disengagement” from Gaza and, that by leaving an area, surrendering on issues such as border crossings, such as Rafah, the Israeli government is rewarding terrorism and and emboldening terrorists and suicide bombers.

However, with Chevron, remembering that he gave away 80%, he seems not able to bring himself to admit that it was a huge error. Therefore Bibi has shown, by not signing on with the other right wing parties to the request to Olmert for delay in the expulsion, that he would do exactly as Olmert is trying to do, to expell the Jews living in the Mitzpe Shalhevet neighborhood and also expell the residents of Amona. Apparently, in watching Bibi’s actions since the Likud Primaries, the only difference betweem the two is that Bibi is not mired in Sharon’s shadow as Olmert is, for Sharon made Olmert from an obscure #36 on the 2003 Likud Knesset list to Deputy PM, one heartbeat away. Therefore Olmert must turn on his hate and arrogance in order to emerge from Sharon’s shadow.

Bibi, however, seems willing to make Jews pay for his stubborness rgarding giving away Chevron, as one would say “throwing good money after bad.” He seems to be indicating that, in case of his victory on 28 March, he would have to follow this flawed Sharon/Olmert policy for to do otherwise would be admission of error.
