Police Arrest Wife of Right-Wing activist Noam Federman

Hebron regional police arrested Elisheva Federman, wife of right-wing activist Noam Federman, for questioning, following her subpoena to the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.
During the arrest, police took into custody Federman’s children, who where with her at the time.

Qassam Barghouti was arrested in late 2003 after crossing from Jordan into the West Bank. Israeli security officials accused him of complicity in Palestinian militant attacks, a charge his lawyer denied.
Prisons Service said Barghouti was convicted of weapons possession and freed after serving a 34-month term behind bars. But he remains on probation as a military court is still considering other charges against him.

Former MK and defunct Shinui leader Tommy Lapid wrote an Op-Ed piece questioning whether or not an IDF incursion into Gaza should be ordered and opting instead;
If the Hamas government launches a new intifada, we will respond with unprecedented force. Not by means of an incursion, which would merely get us into trouble, but rather by bombing and shelling and cutting off electricity and a total siege – until they take the hint.
Seems that Tommy tamborine is more concerned with what hypocritical, western distorted “morality” will say about Jews with the guts to defend themselves. And what is ‘total siege’ if not invasion and every other strategic means to bring the enemy to it’s knees with complete victory?

A good friend of mine, Edva Naveh of Sha’arei Tikva in Samaria, made an interesting observation recently concerning the gang of Beduin youths who, according to their indictment, committed a series of rapes in the Galilee area. She was struck by reports in the Hebrew media – YNET, for instance – saying that the rapes were perpetrated as a form of nationalist vengeance against IDF operations in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.

The High Court of Justice ruled Thursday morning that the Winograd Commission testimonies of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Amir Peretz and former IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz must be made public before Passover and the release of the interim report.
Additionally, the judges criticized the commission for not yet having published any of the testimonies although the decision to do so was made six weeks ago. This conduct, they said, was verging on contempt of court.

This year will mark twelve years, and my ninth Pesach in Eretz Yisrael. As has become tradition with me from prior to my Aliyah, I am emailing the rendition of Dayenu quoted from the book “Dear Brothers.” In each year, Dayenu holds a unique perspective, unlike the perspective of any previous year.
But this year, this thought has crossed my mind several times. Has anyone ever wondered what goes on in leftist, secular, elitist, “politically-correct” homes and circles at the Pesach Seder table? Does one wonder how the Yossie Beilin or Yossie Sarid families have a Seder? Whether Tommy Lapid and son Yair Lapid break matzoh, or is that chometz, on Pesach night? And what about Pesach back at the ranch with the Sharons, in the months before the expulsion, before the stroke, the incapacitation, the coma — Arik and sons Omri and Gilad? Or the Olmert home, with the flaming leftist wife, the gay daughter, the son who does not see fit to live in his native land, as if it were just another piece of real estate — not worth any more than what may be his cushy, comfortable setting in Chutz l’Aretz? Has anyone wondered how they all relate(d) to Dayenu?
