The attorney representing IDF Sgt. Hananel Dayan has called on the military to reverse its decision to throw Dayan out of his brigade, warning he will take the matter to the Supreme Court.

Independence Day embarrassment: Staff Sgt. Hananel Dayan of the Armored Corps refused to shake the hand of Chief of Staff Dan Halutz during a ceremony honoring 120 outstanding IDF soldiers held at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem on Wednesday.

The soldier cited the fact that his family was evacuated from Gaza during last summer’s disengagement as the reason for his refusal to acknowledge the army chief’s gesture. read more

Commentary;

Infantile Yair Lapid use’s more expletives than Carter’s got peanuts. Not an intelligent phrase or line in his entire gibberish. Lapid will never be more than a pampered, spoiled brat and inept, semi-literate, amateur “journalist(sic).”

Sgt. Dayan is more of a man, more of a mensch than Lapid could ever manage to attain.
