Here, you have a prime minister who totally mis-managed a military conflict, is under police investigation for his possible role in at least three corruption scandals and is moving to hand over East Jerusalem, Har HaBayit, the Kotel and nearly all of Yehuda and Shomron to Islamic terrorists in order to decapitate the Jewish rosh from Israelis, even at the immense cost of Jewish life. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s Bureau Chief is restricted to house arrest, while several others, including her brother, are in custody over a major tax and bribe scandal.

Shula Zaken, her brother Jerusalem City Councilman (Likud) Yoram Karashi, and others are suspected of involvement in accepting or arranging bribes from political figures and businesspeople in return for tax breaks and other favors.

Olmert’s Bureau Chief was restricted to house arrest for ten days by a Tel Aviv magistrate Tuesday night after being questioned by the fraud squad at its Bat Yam headquarters for more than eight hours. Her brother is in custody, along with the Director-General of the Israel Tax Authority and a private businessman. read more

Given Mr. Olmert’s etrog status, anything short of catching him killing someone in a live broadcast would probably not be sufficient for an indictment as far as AG Mazuz is concerned. And even then, Mr. Olmert’s team has already noted that the law doesn’t require a prime minister to resign if he is indicted – he has to be convicted.

If one does not already believe that Ehud Olmert is being etrogized due to continued talks with Abbas and growing list of concessions, as Sharon was previously regarding corruption and graft charges lodged against him and his sons, consider the failure of the police to undertake an investigation of his violations of the Jerusalem Law which prohibit transferring any part of Jerusalem to “any foreign political or governmental entity.”

Haaretz of “Rape Israel”: “Olmert Unfit to Conduct a War”

Tucked deep inside the Haaretz news website and inaccessible to anyone looking for it from the front page or from the opinion page,
the Haaretz editorial below, author unnamed, echos what David Horovitz wrote yesterday and which this blog posted, but in even more stark terms such that one has to wonder how it is that editor David “Wet Dream about the Rape of Israel” Landau permitted it to run. The piece obviously seems to run counter to his agenda.

And beneath the hidden editorial is a more accessable Haaretz piece delivering more of the same message. But the great mystery of life is
how Haaretz could be so stark in now calling for Olmert’s ouster. How does this editorial jive with Haaretz’s standing in the MSM which etrogizes Olmert as long as he remains a “good boy” and gives up everything — including Jerusalem. MB read more

Fatah, until recently the largest faction of the PA and from whence Yassir Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas came, has unveiled their newest anniversary poster.

To quote Jerusalem Post columnist Khaled Abu Toameh;

A Fatah 43rd anniversary poster depicts a map of Israel that is entirely draped with a Palestinian keffiyeh next to a rifle signifying armed struggle.

The underlying message of the poster is that Fatah, like Hamas, does not recognize Israel’s existence.

The emblem is in violation of Fatah’s declared policy, which envisions an independent Palestinian state alongside, and not instead of, Israel. read more
