The Sefer Torah Recycling Network is proud to announce that the second of two Sifrei Torah
donated by Phil Chernofsky and The Israel Center is to be placed in the new Junior/Senior High School - Yeshiva Knesset Yisrael which is slated to open next year somewhere between Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh.
This Sefer is being housed temporarily at the Rappaport School in Beit Shemesh where the children of many in the group involved with the Junior/Senior High School attend and where the faculty has expressed the desire to have a Sefer Torah for Morning Tefillos. This temporary placement would be done with the clear understanding that the Sefer Torah will be placed in its ultimate destination, Yeshiva Knesset Yisrael Junior-Senior High/Yeshiva upon the institution's opening B'Ezrat Hashem next year.
I wish to express my sincerest and heartfelt thanks to Phil Chernofsky and Israel Center for their kindness and generosity in donating the two Sifrei Torah for restoration and placement in needy locations as well as for all of the help, support and publicity provided for the Hachnasat Sefer Torah celebration which took place on 4 July, 2004 in Yishuv Shi-rat HaYam in Gush Katif.

The police and the "justice system" have entangled many soldiers and civilians in a web of legal difficulties necessitating costly
personal defense litigation arising from their acting in their own self-defense in situations where but a split-second's hesitation; a
thought about "rules of engagement" would render them dead or seriously injured. The Honenu Organization is a form of Pidyon
Sh'vu'im providing aid for fellow Jews incarcerated and tried by the "justice system" of Israel. Your donations will be accomplishing a
